Starlink Austrian Airlines brings high-speed, low-latency inflight Wi-Fi to Austrian Airlines passengers through Lufthansa Group Wi-Fi. The service supports streaming, browsing, messaging, and cloud-based work, with the rollout beginning in September 2026 and expanding across Austrian's A320 family and Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet.

The Lufthansa Group has partnered with Starlink to bring Starlink free in‑flight internet to its entire fleet of around 850 aircraft starting in the second half of 2026, with complete rollout by 2029. The satellite broadband service will offer high‑speed, low‑latency connectivity that passengers can use for streaming, work, and communication, free for status and Travel ID users across all cabin classes, marking a major advancement in global inflight internet.
