Mogadishu, August 5, 2025 – In what is seen as a milestone achievement, Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite-based internet service, has officially launched across Somalia, expanding connectivity to urban hubs and rural regions following regulatory approval in April.

Cape Canaveral, Florida — August 4, 2025 — In the early hours today, SpaceX successfully launched 28 Starlink V2 Mini internet satellites aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

SpaceX successfully completed the first static fire test of its Starship rocket on the orbital launch mount at Starbase, Texas. This test is a key step toward Starship's orbital launch, confirming engine performance and clearing the path for future flights. The modified launch mount can support Starship's immense thrust. The success of this test brings SpaceX closer to achieving reusable, cost-effective space travel for missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

This morning, SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon 9 rocket, sending the Dragon spacecraft and Crew-11 mission into space, marking a significant milestone in space exploration.
